As a parent and as a photographer I feel that having a sense of humor is key. This family is one of my favorites because they truly take it as it comes and smile. With identical twin one year old girls it is probably how they survive. I also love working with them because they LOVE the ‘blooper’ pictures. As a photographer who specializes in babies and kiddos I get to capture a lot of fun moments.
One of the coolest things that I get to do is visit brand new families in the hospital the day after their little one arrives.
I seek to capture this chapter of a family’s story. It is amazing how even within the first week they change so much.

This is actually a session I did a while ago but when I came across the images and realized I hadn’t shared them, I just had to! I just adore the opportunity to work with couples when they are expecting. The mix of happiness, anticipation and nervousness is so much fun to capture. I love getting to know each of my families!
