Sometimes there is a lot of pressure for kids to be perfect during pictures. To behave, to sit, to smile. Well for me, its not about perfect. It is about getting pictures that my clients love and that reflect their lives and the personalities of their family.
This is my favorite kind of image. He was running around, he was busy, he wasn’t real interested in photos….and he loves his dad. So we get this! I love it.

Birth photography is one of the coolest things that I get to do. I truly love it and take it as such a compliment to be invited in. I often hear from mamas that they don’t think they need a birth photographer because they are having a c-section. I could not disagree more. C-section birth is just as momentous, and cool and beautiful as any other birth. Instead of having your partner there with shaky hands and an I phone you can focus on the birth of your baby and really being present in the moment you first see them. I am a highly experienced birth photographer that has been in many, many births. I have called Little Rock home for 10 years now, but I grew up in Denver, Colorado and it is hard for me not to think of it as my home. This fall I had the opportunity to do some sessions in Denver.
